Protect Your Patio Feet

Protect Your Patio Feet

You bring out the patio furniture covers during the winter, but do you protect the feet of your patio during the rest of the year?  They suffer throughout the year. Rubbing against the cement or having the actual patio being eaten away by sharp edges  and cause your beautiful patio set to be ruined.

Types of Furniture

There are different ways to care for your outdoor furniture depending on the material that it is made of. For example, wicker or wood furniture is beautiful and rustic but unfortunately the feet are quick to suffer from mildew and rot due to damp grounds. You don't want to spend a lot of money on your outdoor paradise only to have it get destroyed by the outdoor weather.

Metal Furniture seems like it would be the most durable and while in many ways it is. The metal legs have the greatest ability to scratch and chip your patio. So your newly paved patio or your wooden deck could have dents or scratches.

Ways to Protect Your Furniture Feet

Furniture sliders help reduce the friction between the patio and the chair. This will not only help your furniture but it will also help with keeping your patio in tact. Outdoor furniture sliders are kind of like indoor sliders but they help endure the struggles of outdoor weather.

There are also items called furniture feet, they come in several colors in which can add a decorative flare to your patio as well as  ensure that they are protected from the elements.

It seems like a lot of extra work to the feet of your patio furniture. But at the end of the day your patio and furniture will thank you. Ensure that your backyard remains picture perfect year after year.
